Terms of service

The conditions governing use of this website and Buildpilotbase affordability audit engagements.

Acceptance and scope

By using this website you accept these terms. A professional engagement starts only when Buildpilotbase confirms the scope, fee and timing in writing. Website material is general information and is not financial, credit or legal advice.

An affordability audit is an independent opinion based on supplied records. We do not act as a credit provider, vehicle dealer or credit intermediary; submit applications; guarantee approval; or guarantee that a repayment will remain affordable after circumstances change.

Client responsibilities

You must have authority to share the records supplied, provide complete and accurate information, disclose relevant commitments and respond to clarification requests. Our delivery dates depend on receiving legible, complete records and agreed payment.

Intellectual property

Buildpilotbase owns the website text, visual identity, templates and general audit methods. A paying client may use and share their final report for the purpose agreed, but may not resell, alter deceptively or publish our working materials without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement. We are not liable for a lender’s decision, vehicle performance, changes in income or expenses, indirect loss, or reliance on incomplete or inaccurate records. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Website and external material

We aim for accurate availability and information but do not promise uninterrupted access. Public image hosts and linked third-party sites have their own terms; a link is not an endorsement.

Ending an engagement

Either party may end an engagement in writing. Fees for cancellation and work already undertaken are handled under our refund policy. Confidentiality and payment obligations that naturally survive termination remain effective.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts with jurisdiction in KwaZulu-Natal may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer dispute process. Questions may be sent to info@buildpilotbase.digital.
