1. Start without sensitive records
Use the enquiry form to describe the proposed finance stage, the service needed and whether income is salaried, variable or self-employed. Do not send identity numbers, account numbers or bank statements through the form.
2. Confirm fit, fee and consent
Within one business day we reply with availability, the proposed scope and a document checklist. The applicant must authorise the review. Dealer instructions also require an appropriate confidentiality and information-sharing arrangement.
3. Supply the agreed evidence
Records are transferred through the secure method agreed in our reply. For a standard audit, expect to prepare the finance quotation, proof of income, current credit commitments and a realistic household expense summary. Missing or conflicting items are raised before analysis.
4. Reconcile and test
We trace income and regular deductions, note variable amounts, review declared living costs, calculate the post-commitment margin and unpack the deposit, fees, term, rate assumptions and balloon. The aim is a supportable opinion, not a preferred answer.
5. Receive the written finding
The findings letter and worksheet normally arrive within two to three business days after the complete file and fee are received. A 30-minute call is included to explain assumptions, constraints and questions worth taking back to the dealer or credit provider.
6. Decide independently
You choose whether to continue, revise the proposal or pause. Buildpilotbase does not submit the application or influence the lender’s assessment.
