About Buildpilotbase

Independent by design

A small Umhlanga practice focused on the figures between choosing a vehicle and carrying its finance agreement each month.

Affordability review practitioner in a professional office

Buildpilotbase began with a recurring observation: applicants could repeat the advertised instalment but often could not explain the balloon, fees, total repayment or household surplus behind it. Our purpose is to make those figures readable before a binding commitment is signed.

The practitioner

The practice is led by Thandi Naidoo, an affordability review specialist with experience examining consumer income evidence, expense declarations and motor-finance application files. Her work combines careful reconciliation with direct explanations; uncertainties are labelled rather than smoothed over.

How we work

We remain separate from vehicle sales and lending decisions. We do not receive dealer referral commission, arrange credit or favour a particular finance provider. Every engagement begins with agreed scope, applicant consent and a record checklist. Findings distinguish documented facts, reasonable assumptions and missing information.

Our values are restraint, confidentiality and usefulness. A good review may support the proposed agreement, suggest a smaller commitment, or conclude that the records do not yet support a dependable opinion. The answer must follow the evidence.
